StackOverflow: Video Killed the Radio Star
Was AI responsible for the demise of StackOverflow?

Monthly views for StackOverflow peaked at 922 million in 2011, just below 1 billion (round up, or better yet, use the ceiling function). But by 2014 the decline had started.
ChatGPT was released in November of 2022, not really any detectable downward effect on the graph. If anything, it looks like there was a little bump up.
So the answer must be No! AI did not kill StackOverFlow. It was already dying. So who was the culprit, or was the wound self-inflicted? In 2014, SO changed their moderation policy. Coincidence?
